The Waterfall Route boasts a low difficulty level, perfect for cyclists of all ages and fitness levels. The route covers 16 kilometers (9.94 miles) south of the city. Our team will ensure you have a bike that suits your height and riding style. Your rental includes a helmet, gloves, and a raincoat for rainy weather. Make stops at stunning waterfalls like Agoyán and Manto de la Novia. For an extra adrenaline rush, test your courage on the exhilarating Glass Bridge and the Tibetan Bridge. Cycle along the "Puerta al Cielo" (Gateway to Heaven) bike path, where you'll encounter refreshing waterfalls and breathtaking panoramic views of the Pastaza River. The highlight of the tour is the "Pailón del Diablo" (Devil's Cauldron), reached after a half-hour hike through the cloud forest. Afterward, visit the Machay waterfall and return to Baños by truck with the bicycles. The self-guided tour takes approximately 4-5 hours by bike.
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride, we recommend:
Bringing enough water to stay hydrated throughout the tour.
Applying sunscreen and wearing a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
Wearing comfortable clothing and sneakers suitable for cycling.
