Itinerary

Day 1
Quito - Coca - Yasuní Reserve Entrance: After your flight (30 minutes, to Coca only) or bus ride from Baños or Quito to Coca (9-10 hours), the meeting point for those traveling by bus is "Hotel Auca."
7:00 AM: Welcome at the Auca Hotel for breakfast.
7:30 AM: Breakfast.
8:00 AM: Depart from Coca to Sacha Ñampi along the Napo River.
12:00 PM: Arrival at Sacha Ñampi.
12:30 PM: Lunch (Sacha Ñampi).
1:30 PM: Hiking for 2.5 hours (Observation of medicinal plants and the largest tree in Yasuní).
6:00 PM: Dinner.
6:45 PM: Night hike (observation of frogs, insects, reptiles).
10:00 PM: Rest (Private double room).
 
Day 2
6:00 AM: Breakfast.
6:30 AM: Depart to the Aguarico River (dolphins).
7:45 AM: Observation of pink dolphins, plenty of photos.
9:00 AM: Return to visit Yasuní.
10:30 AM: Enter the Park through the Yasuní River, full of birds.
11:30 AM: Visit the Ministry of Environment control and (LUNCH).
12:30 PM: Navigation through the Tambococha River canyon, Observation of various species of birds, monkeys, reptiles and animals.
2:30 PM: One-hour hike from Tambococha to the Yasuní River to observe monkeys and birds.
3:45 PM: Return to the Lodge.
5:15 PM: Arrival at the Sacha Ñampi lodge.
6:20 PM: Dinner.
9:00 PM: Rest.
 
Day 3
6:30 AM: Breakfast.
7:30 AM: 4-hour hike from the Lodge to the Tambococha River. Along the trail, you will visit animal licks, a good place to observe monkeys and birds.
11:30 AM: Arrival at the Tambococha River, where a paddle boat will await to take us to the deep river channel and take a motorboat to continue the route to the large lagoon, enjoying the birds, monkeys and other wildlife.
12:15 PM: Lunch in the middle of the Yasuní jungle.
1:00 PM: Transfer to the large lagoon.
3:00 PM: Arrival at the lagoon and observation of various endemic flora and fauna species along the shore.
4:30 PM: Recreational fishing.
5:00 PM: Rest, camping area located on the shore of the large lagoon.
6:00 PM: Dinner.
7:00 PM: Night caiman spotting.
9:00 PM: Rest.
 
Day 4
6:00 AM: Breakfast.
7:00 AM: Return to the Lodge and enjoy the sunrise and the awakening of various wildlife species through the lagoon, as well as the howling of animals and monkeys.
9:00 AM: Arrival at the Lodge.
10:30 AM: Preparation and tasting of Yuca chicha.
11:00 AM: Lunch.
12:00 PM: Return to El Coca.
5:00 PM: Arrival in El Coca (End of Tour).
